Assessments: Properties

Assessment properties are different for quizzes, surveys, and self-tests, but in general allow you to specify:

• question delivery (all at once or one question at a time).
• assessment duration.
• how many attempts are allowed.
• if and how results are displayed to Students.
• when the test is available.
• goals for the assessment.
• custom instructions for students as they are taking the assessment.

Role(s) Needed: The instructions for modifying assessment properties apply to Section-level Designers and Instructors. 

Step 1: From the Build or Teach tab, click the  Assessments tool in the Course Tools area of the Course Menu.

Step 2: Click the down arrow icon next to the assessment name and select Edit Properties.
