Assignment Dropbox: How do I delete or reset a submission?

The online course system currently does not allow for clearing or deleting of assignment submissions.
Although not ideal, consider these options in the event a student submits to a wrong assignment or made a mistake and submitted too soon to the right assignment.
Option 1: Open the students submission and Return to Student for further editing.
Option 2: Go to the assignment's properties:
- On the properties page, expand the More Options area and check the option Students can take back and correct work after submission.
- As long as the Cutoff Date for the assignment has not passed, students can re-submit their assignment. After the cutoff date, submissions are no longer allowed. Previous submissions are overwritten by the most recent submission (multiple attempts are not recorded like with assessments). As a general rule, consider making the Cutoff Date later than the Due Date in the event students need to re-submit.
- Related, consider "hiding" assignments from students until you want them to have access. On the Assignments page click the down arrow icon next to the assignment name and select Hide Item. All appearances of this item are made invisible to Students. Select the Show Item option when you are ready to make it available.
