Discussions: Mark as Read / Mark as Unread

Step 1: In your topic, adjust Paging Preferences to it's highest value: 999.

This ensures that all messages will be listed on the same page view.  If there are more than 999 messages in the topic, you will need to do the following steps ONCE for each page of messages. Paging controls appear at the bottom right corner of the screen. For example:

Click the Paging Preferences icon  to set the number of items to 999.

Step 2: Click Expand All to show all messages in threads.

Step 3: To select all messages, check the box next to the Subject label.  Or check only those messages you want.

Step 4: Click the Mark as Read or Mark as Unread button.

Messages marked as Read will be un-bolded.  Messages marked as Unread will be bolded, just like new messages.
