Goals: How do I associate content with goals?
ANSWER: GOALS - ASSOCIATE CONTENT
You can associate course content or activities, such as assessments or assignments, with goals. This allows you to communicate to Students which items in the course will support progress towards the achievement of each goal. For example, if a goal is for Students to become familiar with Monet's paintings, you can create a link from this goal to a Media Library collection containing image files of the paintings.
Role(s) Needed: These instructions apply to Section-level Designers.
Step 1: From the Build tab, click the Goals tool.
Step 2: If you haven't already, create the goal.
Step 3: From the Goals screen, click on the title of the goal with which you want to associate content.
Step 4: Click Associate Content.
Step 5: From the tools displayed, click the tool containing the item you want to associate and select it from the inventory list.
Step 6: Click the Add Selected button.
Instructors (via the Teach tab) and Students can click the Goals item to view the goals in the course. When they click on the link to the goal, they will see a list of all learning objects associated with that goal. Clicking on a link to any object will direct the Student to that specific object, such as a test or file.
