Grade Book: How do I hide columns in my Grade Book so that I don't have to navigate through so many columns?

ANSWER:

Grade Book: Hide Column

You can determine which data columns display in each of the Grade Book tabs. Hide and show settings for columns affect only the tab from which they are set. This allows you to show a column in one tab and hide it in another. Since exporting column information can be limited to exporting only displayed columns, hiding and showing columns is a useful way to export only certain information.

NOTE: You cannot hide the following columns: SCORM Grades columns, First Name, and Last Name. Hiding columns does not affect the Student view of grades in their My Grades tool.  To hide a grade column from students, use the Released to Students option, which is accessible via the Grade Book Options button > Column Settings.

Role(s) Needed: These instructions apply to Instructors and Teaching Assistants (if TAs are permitted to use the Grade Book).
