By default, when a Media Library Collection is created, it is visible to Students. You can hide it, however, so that students do not have access to it until you are finished building the collection.
Role(s) Needed: The instructions for hiding a Media Library Collection apply to Section-level Instructors and Designers.
Step 1: From the Build or Teach tab, click theMedia Library tool.
Step 2: Click the down arrow icon next to the name and select Hide Item.
All appearances of this item have now been made invisible to Students. Likewise, to make a collection available again, select the Show Item option.
