QuickTime - How do I set options in my QuickTime slideshow of my image files?
ANSWER:
Before playing a slideshow, you can specify the display duration for each slide, choose transition effects, add background music, and more.

Step 1. Select and open an existing album.
Step 2. Click the “Organize” button.
Step 3. Click the “Slideshow” icon (to the right of the “Print” icon).
Step 4. Click “Settings” at the top of the “Slideshow“ window in order to set one or more of the following options:
a. Choose a transition effect from the “Transition“ and “Direction“ pop-up menus, and set a transition rate by dragging the “Speed“ slider.
b. To change the display duration for each slide, type a new duration.
c. Select "Present slides in random order" to show photos in random sequence.
d. Select "Repeat slideshow" to make your slideshow repeat automatically upon completion.
e. Select "Scale photos to fill screen" so black borders don't appear with photos that aren't cropped to the correct size ratio for your display.
f. Select "Display titles" to superimpose title text in the lower-left corner of each slide.
g. Select "Display my ratings" to superimpose rating stars at the bottom of the screen.
h. Select "Display slideshow controls" to use onscreen controls to manually pause and play your slideshow. You can also use the controls to rotate and add ratings to photos, and remove photos from the selected album while the slideshow is playing.
i. Click “Music“ at the top of the Slideshow window to set one or more of the following options:
(1) Select the “Music“ checkbox if you want background music played during your slideshow.
(2) Choose “Sample Music“ or “iTunes Library“ from the “Source“ pop-up menu and select a song to play during your slideshow. You can search for a song by typing the artist or title in the “Search“ field.
Step 5. Click the “Save Settings“ button to save these settings for the album you selected.
