SCORM Module: What is a SCORM Module?
ANSWER:
SCORM Modules
SCORM modules appear in the Course Content tool, or within Learning Modules. When you click a SCORM Module, the SCORM module opens in a pop-up window. SCORM modules contain course content, which can be a single HTML file or graphic, or content that has been organized into a navigable learning path; some SCORM modules contain quizzes or assignments for which you receive a grade before exiting the SCORM module.
You can navigate SCORM modules using a table of contents, which appears in the left-hand frame, and/or Previous and Next icons that appear in the Action Menu at the top of the SCORM Module pop-up window.
Step 1: From the SCORM Module pop-up window, do one of the following:
- To navigate through the SCORM module using the table of contents, under Table of Contents, click the item that you want to access. The SCORM Module pop-up window updates and the selected item is displayed.
- To navigate through the SCORM module using the Previous and Next icons, from the taskbar, click the appropriate icon.
-
If you want to display the table of contents in a drop-down list:
- Click the Display table of contents as a drop-down list icon. The SCORM Module pop-up window updates and the table of contents appears as a drop-down list.
- From the drop-down list, select the item you want to access. The SCORM Module pop-up window updates and the selected item is displayed.
- To return to viewing the table of contents in the left-hand frame, click the Display table of contents in frame icon. The SCORM Module pop-up window updates and the table of contents appears in the left-hand frame.
Step 2: Once you have finished viewing the SCORM module, click the Quit icon. The SCORM Module pop-up window closes.
