Selective Release: There are some items in my course that students cannot access, and I made sure the quiz is available. I didn't set any release criteria.

ANSWER:

Selective Release: Invalid Member Criteria

There may be some invalid criteria lurking from a copy of another course. On the Selective Release or Set Release Criteria for screen, if you see release criteria that are preceded by an exclamation point (for example, ! UserID Equals), you need to edit or delete the criteria. The criteria is invalid.

Member criteria is valid if it is based on actual users in the course. If member criteria is based on users from another course, the criteria is invalid in your course. Example: If the content of a Biology 101 course was copied from another course, and this other course contained member release criteria, the member criteria become invalid in the Biology 101 course. In the Biology 101 course, the invalid member criteria is preceded by an exclamation point.
