Web Links: How do I make a web link invisible to students?

ANSWER:

Web Links: Hide Item

By default, when a web link is created, it is visible to Students. You can hide it, however, so that students do not have access.

Role(s) Needed: The instructions for hiding a web link apply to Section-level Instructors and Designers.

Step 1: From the Build or Teach tab, click the Web Links tool.

Step 2: Click the down arrow icon next to the web link name and select Hide Item.

All appearances of this item have now been made invisible to Students.

Likewise, to make a web link available again, select the Show Item option.
