WebEQ Equation Editor: Import and Insert Equations
You can import equations created in MathML. MathML is a markup language that allows mathematical equations to be displayed in web browsers and shared across the Internet.
Step 1: From the Insert equation drop-down list, select New, and click the Go icon.
The Equation Editor screen appears.
Step 2: Click . The Content Browser pop-up window appears.
Step 3: Do one of the following:

If the file you want to import and insert is in WebCT:
- Navigate to the file and select it.
- Click . The Equation Editor pop-up window appears with the imported equation in the edit area.

If the file you want to import and insert is on your computer:
- Click the My Computer icon. Your computer's file browser or the Upload Files from Your Computer screen appears.
- Locate and select the file. The Equation Editor pop-up window appears with the imported equation in the edit area.
Step 4: Click . The equation is assigned an id and inserted.
NOTE: If the HTML Creator is turned on, the equation is inserted where you placed the cursor. If the HTML Creator is turned off, the equation is inserted as the last item in the text box.
